I've heard they dd that in "Get Backers". Part of te fandom went into WTF! mode when it happened.
(yeah yeah... and Itachi also is a girl ^^; Not to mention Deidara.)

OMG 'Get Backers' has canon!Gay???? Why didn't I know this? I might have to read it now... But the yaoi fangirls are such a big part of the Naruto Fandom that I think it would actually hurt Kishi more to include a hetero pairing. ^^ (Itachi is too hot to be a girl. But I have to admit I really did think Deidara was a girl in the beginning) Naruto needs to get laid. I think Jiraiya would agree.^^
