I am still alive
Well... it certainly has been a while since last I updated. May 1st? Wow. Actually I almost entirely forgot about LiveJournal's existence. Let me tell you what has kept me away from the time-sucking clutch of LJ, even when I only have one class at Leesville.
First, there is the move. By the way everybody, I'm moving. Now please, don't freak out! I am only moving to a house about 5-10 minutes away from my current one. It is a larger house, but on a smaller piece of property... my parents won't be needing that vast 0.2 acre expanse we live on now after my bro and I go to college. Anyway, we started packing everything up 2 weeks ago so I took everything in my room and made it into a giant 3-foot-high pile in the middle of my room. I wish I'd taken I pic. The point is, it was very annoying to get past that junk pile to my computer which is why I've been conspiciously absent from LJ and AIM the past 2 weeks.
Then there is also my new job at Hollywood Video. Everybody told me I'd hate working, but I actually kind of like it. And I haven't even gotten a paycheck yet. The register is the best part... in an ideal world I would get to work the register nonstop during my whole shift. However, there are also returns to do, which are annoying because you have to alphabetize the movies and put them back. All in all, though, the job is really easy (which explains my mad low wage) and it involves a lot of standing around.
So I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that I'm looking forward to Star Wars Episode III. Darth Vader is just the coolest dude ever, because he manages to be extremely badass , yet even in movies 4, 5, and 6 you can always tell that he is not just a cliched "bad dude" but a human character. I can't wait to see what happens. Lucas, I expect III to kick some ass... if it turns out to be mediocre like I or pretty good like II, I will be disappointed.
