Posting because I have an hour more than I usually do and because, aside from occasional facebook updates, I probably appear dead to the western world.
Um. This trip is either extremely boring or extremely interesting depending on which aspects one chooses to focus on. I could say that I go to class for 3-6 hours a day and then study for 3 more, and that I spend most of my free time reading e-books or walking around Kasairinkai...
or that I have
-eaten some very strange foods
-gone pretty much everywhere in Tokyo
-met some interesting people
-been asked to model by A and F (lulz)
-moderated an abortion debate on the subway
-been to the sketchiest places in Akihabara
-caused people to rethink things about themselves
-rethought things about myself
-nearly lost it in a station at 4am
-been to a real japanese birthday party
-learned that it is possible to live without a towel, sheets, or the internet
all that and nearly a month to go. I miss people terribly but am pretty sure I made another best friend for life. No replacements, just additions.
