indigo girls in the KFOG playspace (24 feb 2009)
on tuesday night i attended a special indigo girls private show in the KFOG playspace (here in san francisco). joey went with me, and it was kind of a random mid-february treat for us. anyone who has ever been to the the KFOG playspace knows that it is very small - i believe the capacity is about 30. the girls did a quick swing through the west ( Read more... ) -

i should have listened to my instincts
on saturday night, after the portland show, i kept telling myself that i should just go home. nothing, and i mean nothing, would top portland. the venue was amazing. the indigo girls were ON FIRE. the setlist was perhaps the best ever. and the crowd was in to it, but not *too* into it that you couldn't hear amy and emily. i knew that seattle ( Read more... ) -

ok, just ok
i just got home from the girlyman show. it was ok. not indigo. no, not at all. i like girlyman, but sometimes they tend to be too folky. i was not impressed with the song "invite me in" (i had never heard it before as i am not downloading live gman MP3s anymore) - some of the other new songs were really good, though ( Read more... ) -
