I decided to convert over to the latest version of Firefox, Firefox 3, as of last week. The conversion plan was as follow:

Saturday, 30 Aug. 2008
Mac OS X 10.4.11: Back up "Firefox" (2.0.0.16) application and install the latest Firefox (3.0.1) application.
- Update successful, with some minor issues that a restart fixed.
