My mom has been fixating on the 5 love language stuff again. She asked my brother what was his and he said "Compliments" to which she freaked to because she never compliments him. She asked me and I said I must be greedy because I wanted more then one.

The five are: Quality Time, Gifts, Service, Compliments and Physical TouchI'd say I want

I guess you can pick as many as you want, its just about knowing what you prefer most so that others can give you want you desire. I guess its a normal reaction for people to give the love language they identify with most, which to their partner might not be what they are desiring to receive.

Did this come from a book? Where did your Mom come up with this?
I totally agree that one should know what they want. Service is not mandatory but it would be really nice. The others are not things that I would want to not have in a relationship. My needs would not be met then. I could not stay in a relationship where those two needs were not met.
