2C-i observations pt 1

From 2 successful (and one unsuccessful) trips, I realized that while psychedelics (some) might have recreational/"party" qualities the most common quality of psychedelics tends towards what could be considered "psychonautical." Psychedelics tend to amplify perception, allows one to explore ideas, new and old, and reach new insights and perspectives on those ideas, and explore opinions and feelings in general. Sometimes psychedelics aid in "putting separate ideas and observations" together leading to new realizations.

My 1st psychedelic trip leaned toward the recreational, perhaps due to being with other people who were also on the trip and being the 1st time it was "experimental" in the sense that there was a focus on the specific effects of the substance. Obviously it was enjoyable but not much occured in the realm of psychonautic introspection, etc.

The 2nd trip, which failed due to broken capsule, led me to realize how this substance creates a sensitivity in perception. During this trip, a person who I never meet automatically gave me "negative vibes." Usually while sober, I tend to analyze people by observing them. This substance seems to only potentiate that activity (people-watching). After some retrospection and further knowledge on that person, I realized that my initial reaction was correct and that person was a definate gadje.

On the 3rd trip, which was the most intense and was detailed here, was were I came about the real psychonautical power of psychedelics. It potentiated my slight misanthropic feelings and lead me to think of many many thoughts. I felt a need to find someone "genuine" and yet at the time I was even questioning my own degree of authenticity. People around me seemed fake but it was like they were trapped into falsehood through social constructs that these people were not explicitly aware of.
