The flowers and trees are blooming here in the Pacific NW and my mom just told me Fargo is going to flood. Again. Yay for spring!! Grendel is napping in the sun on the office chair and the recycling just got picked up for this cycle. All is right in the world.
It was a very busy week here in in the river city. Plots were hatched and plans were made. We had the inaugural workshop for Be Brilliant Marketing last Saturday and it KICKED ASS. Everyone left happy and inspired and full of good ideas. We're having another workshop tonight and lets hope everyone will leave feeling the same way. Last week was pretty crappy for me but it ended on the right note. After the workshop a friend came over and ended up staying overnight because we stayed up too late and imbibed a bit too much. I have a genetic disorder (or something) that doesn't allow to me to sleep in when I go to bed late so I woke up early on Sunday morning and was in a fog most of the day. I had planned on napping but I never going around to it. Ugh.
Earlier in the week I checked out a new restaurant and bar in downtown Vancouver and took this picture of Ian with hockey in the background. I plan on writing a review of the place on my "other" blog. It was a nice little place with an OK wine selection but I really liked the service and ambiance.
The next day we took a trip to exotic Brush Prairie, WA on a location scouting trip to check out the CASEE Center. We are going to shoot video there for our compost book and wanted to make sure they had what we needed. It is such a beautiful place and I want to go back there and just sit and take it all in.
Another busy week ahead for me with more plots and plans and good things.
