When I'm plotting and scheming my eventual world domination, I think about updating my blog and then find other things to do. For those of you like Mr. or Ms. Invisible Guest who come here to look at my purdy pictures, I apologize for my lack of content. I will strive to do better.
The past two weeks have been full of meetings and writing projects for which I will eventually be paid. I have a lot of pans in the fire and a lot of projects in the wings. While it's a very good thing, it makes me one tired girl. I need to remember NOT to do work on the weekends and just try and relax.
Last weekend I dropped Ian off at school and chose not to go home and work. I drove to NE Division and parked and wandered up and down the street window shopping and drooling over second-hand clothing. I eventually stopped and had a lovely lunch at the Detour Cafe. After lunch I pointed the car west and landed over by
Food Fight. Having never been in there, I parked and wandered in and looked at their sad selection of "fresh" produce and other assorted items. I settled on a vegan cookie and some Secret Aardvark Sauce. I had an hour to kill before I had to get Ian so I walked to the park across the street and ate my vegan cookie and drank a vegan latte (with almond milk!). I watched the homeless people do drug deals while kids played on the slides and bridges. There was a weird airplane-like structure. It posed for me:
Last week was haircut time and as per my usual ritual, I took pictures to and from my haircut.
Oh.. and just a little housekeeping, I started a new blog to post reviews and interesting things I find during the week. Bookmark it! Comment! Love it!
