It has been a busy week here in the river city - although this week felt like it was two weeks wrapped in one. Having a holiday on a Friday is very confusing.
Anyway, we had our annual snarfing of the new year's dim sum on Friday along with what seemed like the rest of Portland. After the snarfing we came home and took a nap. Then I got up and went to the St John's Theater and watched Sherlock Holmes. I have read a few of the books so I know what Mr. Holmes is "like" and I really enjoyed the movie. It was an updated steam punk version of Sherlock Holmes and it worked. I can see why some critics didn't like it but I thought it was a fun movie. Turn your brain off, go, enjoy.
The Chinese Classical Garden has free admission from now until sometime next week so gypsylady and I took advantage of it yesterday and went.
Today is Get Shit Done Around The House Day. Ian was out late whoring last night but I might have to wake him up soon so we can get our projects started.
