Olifanten Everywhere
I've been on a paper maché kick recently. First it was little balls to hang out in a satellite basket I have, and now I've started making animal sculptures. First up is the olifant -- elephants have become a bit of a running joke for G and I as they were one of the first words we learned in Dutch. We didn't think it would come in particularly useful, but they've actually been popping up all over the place! My next animal will probably be a rhino, one of my other favorite wild animals for various reasons. Ultimately, I'd like to sell the little sculptures and hopefully be able to put some of the profit toward groups that help protect them both. They might both pop up in some other designs that I'm working on as I try to get my new "shop" organized and eventually online.
