. . . but sitting here working with CNN on in the background as my constant companion I am listening to the travails of the Jewish residents of Gaza leaving in advance of the change of governments for that particular piece of ground. And I am thinking . . .

I'm baffled by that entire situation. If my city suddenly became contested ground I'd want to stick it out and fight because i'm pugnacious by nature. I have kids however and that cuts into my fun time. ;)

I'd never actually transplant anywhere as bitterly contested as Gaza. I'm not that pugnacious.
