Baby Budgie
I finally have a new member of my flock. :D
I collected him this morning from an aviary in West Hagley (near Bromsgrove). He's white and purple and a rather handsome chap, and only ten weeks old. He's still settling in as he only arrived about an hour ago after a journey along the M42 so I'll post some pictures soon.
He does have a name though. After some humming and hawing, I've decided on Hobbes after Thomas. Seems only fair that I name him after my discipline since Joe named Ada after his.
Ada is currently in a different part of the house with a radio. We're keeping them apart for a week or so then will bring them within sight and sound of each other (but still in different cages).
I really hope they get on!
