Dude, just dude. Eva's house got attacked the other night and so did everyone else. There were flaming arrows shooting through the windows and Eva got shot a couple times, Andrew and I got burned. And oh my God, I just know I'm gonna have an awful scar on my arm now.
Eva drove us to the hospital, we crashed out of the garage and even hit one of the demons with her car. It was surreal, man. I think all the calls on the radio were worrying her, they had to be, I was scared shitless that something had happened to Iz. So we get there and Eva's all yelling about them taking care of Andrew and I when she's got like arrows sticking out of her. I'm starting to think Penn's right and she really is nuts. But then we saw Cristoff and he had his own arrow sticking out of him, so Eva left to go check on him. The doctors took Andrew and I to get our burns checked out, and when they were done both Eva and Cristoff had been taken to surgery.
As if that wasn't bad enough? A bunch of vamps attacked the hospital while we were waiting. I didn't know what to do and neither did Andrew, so we just hid in a janitor's closet and prayed they didn't find us. The person that did find us after like at least an hour was not who I expected; it was Ralph. He knocked on the door and said my name, and that it was okay for us to come out now. I know that I haven't really thought of him as anything other than a good lay, but I was so happy to see him when I opened that door! Then Izzy and Penn were there, and Iz was fussing over my bandaged arm and saying we were moving everything to the high school. Before she dragged Andrew and I away, I told Ralph that if he was fighting on the same side as us he might want to go there, too 'cause we need all the help we can get.
So yeah, we've been at the high school for the past two days. I think some of the soldiers are out looking for supplies while others are boarding up and making the school as secure as they can. I think this is what the tarot cards meant, this badness. It's also kind of a turning point, hopefully with our side coming out better than it did on Sunday night.
