I don't know about you if you like the BIG magic performances where the magicians cut other people into half and then make them alive or disappear the running train or other giant things (what are they gonna do next; are they going to make whole world disappear?) To me, the simple yet skillful slight of hand tricks impress the most! It really allows me to connect with people and that was one of the biggest reasons I started learning impromptu magic tricks that generally does not involve elaborate props or gimmicks but requires a great deal of skill, while the other BIGGER tricks are so easy that even children can perform them (when the secret is revealed).
