Many Sues pair themselves up with Jack Harkness. Most of them are in their teens so there is a huge age gap. If that isn't enough of an ick factor, not all of them take the age of consent into consideration, and some stray from it very far. ( From Dreams to Reality: Classified Dreams )

One way to meet a new lover is to move into their building, or them into yours. Some Sues try this approach on Murdock, while he's living at the VA. That it's a psychiatric hospital for war veterans seems to escape them.

Murdock gets a lot of lovin' in fanfics, mainly from authors who think he didn't get enough lovin' in canon. I'm not against that. I'd just like to see him with a girl I can actually believe he likes.
