What? This is short. For me. Anyway, I just got back from my holiday and I want to do ALL the prompts! We'll see, but here's the first explosion from my brain. Completely NOT what you asked for (because I suck like that, no pun intended) but at least it's something? And kind of fun?

The Vampire Greg (Part 1)

It was the smell that drew him up, sinking into his awareness like a sailor lost at sea, mournful, alone, desperate. They were flavours he could feel, but it took a long time for him to realise this. His body had already recognised it. It knew what he needed, and it was awake long before his mind. Sensations assaulted; first earth, then air, then cooling flesh, then the explosion of something indescribable on his tongue, a soft giving pulse under his suckling mouth.

And he was hungry, so hungry. He would never have stopped, after so long sleeping, except his food, the faceless voiceless form wrapped in his arms, entwined in his legs, sighed, and embraced him back, and as he drank, he thought he heard the wind whisper,

Thank ( ... )

Weiss Kreuz /Howl's Moving Castle crossover [film or book, though I'm partial to the Howl of the movie?? but I like how Sophie's more magical in the book?? idk, as you will!], Howl!Schuldig and (male)Sophie!Crawford. ANYTHING.

Bam! One gleefully unholy amalgam, hot off the presses! There is no male equivalent of Sophie, so I went with an equivalent meaning. Hence, Sophie is now Alden. Also, I probably should have double-checked re:Strangia, but I didn't. XD ( ... )

The water clouded like tea suddenly introduced to a vast quantity of milk, and Alden sighed again. His sigh surely had nothing to do with the body now obscured; after all, wasn't he cursed to be old for the rest of his (unnatural) life? It did one absolutely no good to sigh after things one could not, would not ever have the pleasure of knowing. No, Alden was old and not even Howl could change that ( ... )

Why, the insufferable--! Howl stood in the bath then, and Alden simply didn't have time to look away, did he? Besides, there surely was no harm in looking, not when Howl apparently knew everything anyway. Alden allowed himself the indulgence ( ... )

Weiss Kreuz. Crawford/Schuldig (or Schuldig/Crawford or Crawford & Schuldig, etc.) AU in which telepaths age into precognitives when they hit their mid-to-late 20s. Crawford is an insufferable mentor and Schuldig has growing pains.

Future Imperfect

Crawford slid the pill bottle across the table and went back to the Sunday sports supplement, mentally counting the seconds before -

"What’s that for?"

"Your headache."

Schuldig’s hand came down on the paper, giving Crawford a good view of his suspicious, irritated face.

"I don’t have one - am I going to have one ( ... )

Thanks! It's fun to think of Crawford as having once been a telepath, and understanding the fear of change - the loss of a sense, really.

Just Like Starting Over

At first, Hakkai had been bemused at the idea that an event that lasted less than an hour could possibly allow him to make a decision about any woman, let alone seven of them. However, after the first twenty minutes, he had already dismissed two.

"Well," said the current candidate, sweetly, "I guess you've had a tough time of it, honey. But I'd be really happy to take a stab at making you smile again."

A stab. Hakkai winced inwardly, although he hoped that his smiling face didn't show it. What a very poor choice of words. She was a pleasant-looking woman with streaked blonde hair and a short, tight blue dress. He never wanted to see her again ( ... )

Just Like Starting Over, pt. 2The organizers went over the followup procedures and dismissed the clients. Hakkai left as hurriedly as he could without looking (he hoped) as though he were escaping. But as he walked through the lobby, he saw that the leggy redhead in the leather jacket was ahead of him. Hakkai slowed down just a bit to avoid catching up to him. However, the other man seemed to be parked in the same section of the lot, because he continued to walk ahead of Hakkai all the way to Hakkai's jeep. Then he stopped and lit up a cigarette ( ... )

AH YOU HAD ME AT STAB. But then it got better. Very sweet fill, in so many ways but that undercurrent of loneliness and yearning really really spoke. Great stuff!

Maaaaybe the ending's a little abrupt? But I hope it works for you regardless!

Same Old Story (to keep you warm)"It's funny," Hakkai began, and if it felt like a non sequitur that was probably because neither of them had spoken for some hours ( ... )

Same Old Story (to keep you warm) - part 2It was like expanding in the same space. Suddenly, with those awful limiters off, he felt… more. He could hear more, see more, smell more. His body felt right, as if he finally inhabited it properly, and the cold of the cave was abruptly nothing. He turned his head and looked out through the entrance and he knew that out there in the cold and the wind no longer posed much of a threat to him ( ... )

Same Old Story (to keep you warm) - end

It didn't even occur to him to ignore it. No, he wanted to chase it, he wanted to lick it, he wanted to bury his face in it. It was the most delicious, incredible thing and it was for him; he knew that without having to examine it. He pulled on Gojyo's anchored arm, his strength more than it had been also, and Gojyo lurched forward, surprise drawing his breath in, Hakkai's mouth chasing it.

Perhaps if Hakkai had ever thought about it- No, that wasn't quite correct; he had thought about it. He'd thought about it listening to Gojyo fuck women that he brought home, and then later, when they had started their journey, he thought about it watching women smile at Gojyo in that particular way. When he had thought about it, about the impossible, he had thought it would be hungry, a struggle. He thought Gojyo would fight him for dominance and he thought that sometimes, only sometimes, he would let him win. He had never thought this, though; Gojyo still against him and then sighing into him, his whole ( ... )
