Maaaaybe the ending's a little abrupt? But I hope it works for you regardless!

++++

Same Old Story (to keep you warm)"It's funny," Hakkai began, and if it felt like a non sequitur that was probably because neither of them had spoken for some hours ( ... )

Same Old Story (to keep you warm) - part 2It was like expanding in the same space. Suddenly, with those awful limiters off, he felt… more. He could hear more, see more, smell more. His body felt right, as if he finally inhabited it properly, and the cold of the cave was abruptly nothing. He turned his head and looked out through the entrance and he knew that out there in the cold and the wind no longer posed much of a threat to him ( ... )

Same Old Story (to keep you warm) - end

It didn't even occur to him to ignore it. No, he wanted to chase it, he wanted to lick it, he wanted to bury his face in it. It was the most delicious, incredible thing and it was for him; he knew that without having to examine it. He pulled on Gojyo's anchored arm, his strength more than it had been also, and Gojyo lurched forward, surprise drawing his breath in, Hakkai's mouth chasing it.

Perhaps if Hakkai had ever thought about it- No, that wasn't quite correct; he had thought about it. He'd thought about it listening to Gojyo fuck women that he brought home, and then later, when they had started their journey, he thought about it watching women smile at Gojyo in that particular way. When he had thought about it, about the impossible, he had thought it would be hungry, a struggle. He thought Gojyo would fight him for dominance and he thought that sometimes, only sometimes, he would let him win. He had never thought this, though; Gojyo still against him and then sighing into him, his whole ( ... )

There were so many things I liked about this...! How it started, for example. And their talk about possible endings. And the idea to keep warmth. And Gojyo's reactions to it. This was made of win and I enjoyed it immensely :)

That would have been great, because you're one of the best smut writers I've had the pleasure to read (it's so difficult to do it right...! I don't know how you manage, it's like pulling teeth for me), but it's also wonderful as it is.
