eisley/brand new concert, yay!!!! :)
all rightys... so much to update but lemme stick to the brand new/eisley concert last night... and you peoples know i can't make this short so just deal... ok, so last night i decided i didnt wanna go... i always make myself nervous about stuff.. like i make and find stuff to freak about... its really dumb actually... but yea, i was running all around realizing i forgot to get directions and times and all that... so blah blah blah... finally on my way and im good to get on 30, but its all that exit and turn here and there that confooses the crap outta me... so was pretty good until i got to the area itself... then the directions lied to me and i drove around and around and then gave up on the directions and did it my way and got there... so then i get there and see this ginormous line and im like "oh... this is great" all by myself and all... so i call jessica (yay!) since she gave me her # and she was there... so i get in a line and figure out i'm in the wrong one and get in the other one and stand around....
now, this is my theory, dont know if its right or not... but i saw this girl looking towards me, wasnt sure if it was at me or just in the general directions... so i was like "hmm, maybe thats her" but i had absolutley no description of her, so i didnt think much of it... later on i noticed i missed a call and it was her, sooo im thinking maybe she called my phone and then was looking at me to see if i was going for my phone and since i didnt it wasnt me... i dunno... makes some weird sense in my head... but yes, called her back and we finally met.. YAY!! and it was her!! the girl who i thought was looking at me, but i didnt ask her about my theroy.. but yea, we chatted a bit and then parted ways since i was in the uber dumb line... my fault and all for waiting so long and not just forking over the few extra bucks for the overnight mailing... but yea... stood around in line for at least an hour i'd say, definetly more than that...
and then i'm standing around and i catch a glimpse of the guy kinda next/behind me and i swear it looked like shain... but i wasnt sure... so i was thinking of saying something, but didnt... and i know he got a look of me, so he coulda said something too, right?! but no, we said nada to each other... then line starts moving slowly... and later on i swear i catch a glimpse of jonathan... and actually i tried calling him earlier although he denies that i called... uh-huh... all right... sure.... so i decided it was jonathan... and eventually got in... headed for the merch table to be sure i got an ep... guess who i'm behind in line... yup, jonathan.. and i KNOW he sees me... and he gets his stuff.. turns around, walks RIGHT by me... nothing... and yea, i didnt say anything, so you can blame me too, but i wanted to see if he'd say anything... but nope... no one acknowledged me!!! grrrrr....
so got my copy of the ep... tried calling jessica a few times, couldnt get a hold of her... found a little spot next to the wall for eisley.. couldnt see well but it was ok... so i enjoyed the wonderfulness that is eisley... i love 'em.. they'se so great... like other concerts i go to, i'm still thinking of other stuff while watchign teh band, but not with eisley... i get all swept up.. haha. such dorkyness from me.... but they played for like .2 seconds and then hot rod came up... and then i got a call from jessica, so went to find her... in the mean time i saw the eisley group talking/taking pics/signing and i coulda easily gotten something signed, etc... but of course im a dork and too shy to go up to 'em.... ah well... and i forgot my camera... i ALWAYS forget my camera when i absolutely need it, i've had this disposable cam since august, the wedding stuff i went to... i wanna get it developed!! grrrr.... but yea... saw shain again and i decided, ya know what... im gonna say something... so i whacked him in the arm as he was walking by and then all of a sudden he recoginzes me... grrr.... haha, but its ok, he redeemed himself by chatting with me for a few minutes... took a pic and then another one since SOMEONE's so paranoid about how they look in the pictures... hahaha.... then i finally saw jessica again and she's so sweet... she like pulled me through this mass of people... and then we went and stood where we were constantly getting beat up and molested by peoples who werent very nice... oh the looks me and jessica shared over those mean peoples... i was about to lay some smackdown... ahahahaha.... yup yuppers...
but yea, thats a little pet peeve of mine... just cause you're at a concert doesnt mean you leave your manners at home buddy!!!! grrrrrrrr........ when i walk through i'm constantly like "excuse me... sorry!!..." etc... but no, these people grab you and literally shove you out way..... arghhhness.... but yea... i felt violated a few times.... hahah.... anyways, stood around and then jessica found some friends... i really tried staying outta the way when she was with her friends since i didnt wanna bother too much.... by then it was brand new time since most of hot rod was spent finding people and talking and all that good stuff... i really did enjoy brand new, i only knew the deja entendu stuff, but i still really really liked it... the crowd, uh... yea.... i heard some people commenting about all the "15 yr old mall girls" which was so true... i dont like these all ages shows and i think there should be an iq test or some other intelligence test you have to take before you go to shows... haha, i sound like some old lady, but i think its true... oh, and then the brand new's lights were purdy... except those damn white strobe light ones... OMG.... were they trying to kill our eyeballs?!?! it looked cool for the .00002 second you were able to keep your eyes open but after that i was in pain...
ohhh.... and somewhere in there as me and jessica were walking we saw jonathan going the other way so i whacked him in the arm too... man, i need to find a nicer way to get people's attention... but yea... then he magically recognized me too... GRRRRRRR.... had a .2 second conversation... and then moved on...
but overall i am glad that i went and i owe it all to jessica!! she didnt have to hang out with me or offer me her number or any of that good stuff... and she was uber sweet and was worrying about me and pulling me through the crowd so i wouldnt get lost, awwwwwwwwww!!! cause i was thinking of leaving after eisley but decided to give it some more time since i drove all the way out... and then she called and saved me from leaving.... sooooooo THANK YOU!!!! jessica's the coolest of 'em all!! hahaha.... ohhhh, and she even remembered about asking to see my turtle ring, yay!!!!
so then afterwards i left and of course got lost trying to find 30... kept turning this and thatta way and some how managed to end up right back at the gypsy tea room... dunno how i managed that... but it was crazy... cause i had put in the eisley ep and ended up at this stoplight and by golly gee... who'se crossing the street?!? why it'd be those darnded eisley young'ns themselves!! such strangeness... but it was cool... i think it was chauntelle and jonathan for sure crossing the street, possibly stacy, can't remember, but i think cassie was also with... and then sherri was standing on the corner... strangeness for sure... i'm listening to a cd in my car and the very people singing and playing are walking right across the street from me... whoa.... but yea... after much confoosing i found my way to 30 and after that it was smooth sailing... got back in such a great mood.... yay!!!
