What the hell's up with Bernadette?

OH, AND GREETINGS TO THE NEW PLAYER(S) I'VE MISSED DURING MY ABSENCE. I'M BERNADETTE AND I PLAY COLIN CREEVEY AND ZACHARIAS SMITH.
I hate my aunt's 8-year-old Windows 98 Dell, which has the tendency to freeze.. but sometimes it behaves nicely. Two windows are open, and it's still functioning. Okay, good.
I have a very bad feeling that I missed a lot.. When Cate mentioned something about a ball, I was like, "What..?"
I've moved from the city to a suburbia, and it's been a rather big change for me. (Thanks, Alex, for posting that message for me on the OOC.) All right, I'm attending a community college -- yeah, I know, it's not spectacular -- nearby, and I just applied online for a job at Petco (where the pets go!). I still have to take the written test for a Learner's Permit before I can finally learn how to drive.. I love this house, and I love how much bigger my room is than my previous one back in New Jersey.. and this place (the neighborhood and its surroundings) is just clean compared to Jersey City!
I'm not so terribly busy (I only have class on Saturday for the time being, 4 hours of math -- and if I get that job I'll only have day shifts; English Comprehension starts on Oct. 24th) but this computer is... slow to work with. I'm back with Dial-Up. D:
I don't want to bug my aunt about getting me a new computer (with fast internet) too much, because that'd be rude. Yes, Bernadette has manners. Plus, she was nice enough to allow me to inhabit her pretty home. Anyway...
-- The task that I really, really need to take care of is catching up.. which is going to take a while. I need to read up on the synopsis, maybe check up on the newer threads on the board.
-- Then, I have to figure out what I'm going to do.. I need to try and catch up on tags which I've dramatically fallen behind with.
-- I'm not so sure about creating new threads...
-- I need to come up with a very good reason why Colin Creevey hasn't been very interactive with people that much, aside from his jobs, especially since he's a pretty big people person. Blargh. (Zach's not as sociable as Colin, so I'm not worrying about him too much).
Gosh, I need to work on my own synopsis stuff, too. I miss my computer so much. ;_;
