Oh, and quick update. I was taking the trash out and stepped on what I thought was a thorny branch or something, which felt like it was wrapping around my big toe, and then looked down a few seconds later and saw a huge bug latched onto it. I can't tell if it's really swelling or if I'm just freaked out and exaggerating because I couldn't even tell

Dude, I used to love Animorphs! I read it all the freaking time! Though, honestly, I haven't the foggiest what happened. Just that there was a character named Ax? Ath? Something like that, and he was an Andalite, and I was in love with him....

Anyway, I've been too scared to see Slither. The trailer freaked me out a couple years ago when I saw it, though I was younger then, so who knows? I'd watch your toe now, though....

Ax (Axe?) was the fucking coolest! I just remember that he freaked out over the human sensation of taste, and there was one book in which a female andalite is on earth researching or something and they both morph into humans, and end up kissing, and then decide that it isn’t as good as tasting. And there is one book where Ax(e) tastes a cinnamon bun in the mall and starts yelling about how good it is and I almost peed. Oh, and I remember that I was in love with Tobias, and realize now that I was totally in love with Rachel also. And I think if I’d known what fanfiction was I probably would’ve written some.

Anyway. Slither was cool because half the time it made you catch yourself taking it too seriously, and then half the time it made you surprised at yourself for actually being intruiged with or freaked out by something that is kinda ridiculous. So I won’t say it isn’t as creepy as it looks, because it… kinda is.
