That sounds marvellous, especially the woman winning your quilt.

I'd got my dates utterly confused and came into work in the afternoon, wondering why little L was wearing a ballerina skirt. The costume parade was in the morning and I'd missed numerous monkeys and rabbits.

It was actually a male coworker who won it, but he wanted it for his (thirteen-year-old) daughter. And he'd bought a quilt off me previously. It is nice when they buy stuff and then come back for more. :)

Possibly a good thing you missed the costume parade - I imagine it was stressful...
