I'm glad you still have a home to post at. I really love your style and would hate to see you gone completely =) Also, I have a feeling the new 16w rule won't last. Maybe I'll be wrong, but it seems like it has stirred up so much unrest that they will decide to modify it again.

Same here. My Wii fit calls me obese and that should be good enough for them! I kid (Wii fit calls everyone obese) I guess I'm not as worked up as others as I don't post outfits anyways, so I'm not really inconvenienced. I happened to like spectrum of people posting, though, and don't think all will filter over to this comm. Also, I am waiting to see if they start taking posters location into account if they're taking into account height/weight ratio (like in your case) Some of the posters who are "thin" come from a culture where they are considered fat. I guess I just am going to hang in for the ride, though, and see what happens (and knit some headbands while I wait, lol)

I am one of those people and something like this just makes me think that the mods over at fats should just straight out say as well as being fat positive, gender inclusionary etc, fats is also US centric.

OMG thank you so much! I don't think it would have been possible for me to come to my present sense of style without the opportunity post outfits in a public forum like fats where my sense of style (of lack thereof) might be reviled but not my body. This is why, for me, at least, the mods decision over at fats truly sucks.

Hehe, I don't even go to school any more (no papers, yay!) and still can't scrounge up fashion most of the time. I have never posted an outfit before in fact (so you're waaaay ahead of me)

i've gotten a couple of emails from two different fatshionista mods and honestly they are continuing to blow my mind with how fucking backwards they are being. like...it's mind boggling how somebody else who KNOWS HOW IT FEELS to have their body judges is now judging others and expecting them to PROVE their fatness to an adequate degree. one even said that OOTD's are for "unambiguously fat" member. WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAAAN? haha
