Saber is a friend of mine from home that apparently arrived here not too long ago. She was actually my instructor and sparring partner for sword training.

Oh she is strong, I have no doubts about that. But the thing is, I'm not sure how much of a negative effect this town has placed upon her now that she is probably a lot weaker than how she was before.

A strong person is still strong no matter the limits placed upon them! IF their spirit is there, then that's all that matters!

Well you are right about that. Still, I still think it would be pretty unfair for Saber being the way she is now though and if I asked her to train with me. I'd much rather her be at full strength or at least close to it so I can improve myself even more when I'm giving it my all.

Everyone has room to grow stronger. You, me, AND her. So if she's not at her best right now, then that's all the more reason for her to test what she's still got against YOUR best.
