[He sat there for what seemed to be hours. Through the cracks of the shed that allowed what light to shine inside, a green light shot out that was barely visible from the morning day light. Shirou panted from each attempt on projecting weapons he had seen with his eyes since the start of the Grail War back home. Of course it was all successful, but the process was slower than usual.]
Trace on.
[In that instant, two of his magic circuits had activated. Furrowing his brows with the flow of his mana surging through him, he continued his chant to test his theory out of the reason behind the slower than usual speed of his projection.]
... beginning projection.
Determining creation ideology.
Envisioning base core.
[The blueprint from his memory immediately came to his mind. Those twin swords that always enchanted him with it's charm and beautiful design, one black and the other white that gave the yin and yang motif. Kanshou and Bakuya, the same swords that the knight in red used in battle and that Shirou used to fight against in the Einzbern Castle, the Servant Archer. However--]
Hypothesis completed. Voiding.
[Those swords completely vanished into thin air as if they returned to the nothingness that they came from. Letting out a sigh of disappointment and rubbing the back of his head now that he finally understood what the source of the problem is. He could just look at any other item in the shed and he would know immediately.]
So it's the fact that I don't have Reinforcement to help make the process go more quicker and smoothly. Since I am able to see the components more clearly for tracing items when I had it before, just projecting them will make it more difficult without it. Especially since I am using what I know based from memory alone. I guess I should have expected this, but at least now I am able to train myself again.
[Now stepping out of the shed and covered with the sweat from the work he had done and to give the excuse of how he was like that, he carried out an old fashioned pushing lawn mower, Shirou took a deep breath and closed his eyes to allow what breeze that would flow on by to cool him down and talk to himself out loud while making his way to the front yard.]
Man, I really must be slacking if nearly a month's time of not doing anything got me like this. Guess this means it's time to start putting my nose to the grindstone from now on. Anyway, I better get a meal ready for Saber if she decides to come around. Chances are that we will be having a long talk... and something tells me that she will be scary without having anything to eat at all. I'm just hoping she didn't meet up with Rider and tried to fight her.
... oh yeah, that reminds me. I wonder exactly what did Nana want to get for that party she wanted to plan. No way we have enough to feed the entire neighborhood, let alone the entire town. I guess that little 'investigation' thing will have to wait for a while longer.
