((So thread order: Saber -> Shirou -> Nana then?))

Mm. Well soon after we discovered about Kuzuki-sensei being Caster's real Master and we failed to do what we planned to do, Caster went on to the defensive and made sure that Kuzuki never left the Ryudo Temple. While we were still planning on figuring out what to do the next day, Tohsaka decided to take us out in town and treated us with her meal that she made for lunch and it was a nice experience for the most part, but by the time we've returned home...

[He'll be falling silent since this is where the part that Saber would find most surprising and remembering the events made him more mad at what happened. Taking a deep breath to clear his mind and continue, Shirou continued to get the meal ready and finished the story.]

When we returned home, we've noticed that the boundary field that my father placed to warn us about intruders was completely gone. So we all knew something was up, but when we went inside... we found Caster holding Fuji-nee unconscious and as a hostage. Though she tried to persuade me to join her side in order for Fuji-nee to be unharmed, I refused... so after other choice of words being said, we agreed that she'll let Fuji-nee go if I gave up my command seals-- well she wasn't going to do it in a gentle way and you rushed in to rescue me from getting my arm cut off, but Caster used her Noble Phantasm to break our connection on you right at that moment. And at that point on, you were under Caster's control but you still fought the overbearing commanding power and gave Tohsaka and I enough time to retreat.

((ooc: Hyne, I'm sorry. And rather fail. -flushes- Knew I had forgotten to track this thread.))

[Here they were, all talking about serious stuff when Nana gets back from a grocery run. Why they always seemed to have money for groceries and the like was a mystery, but it wasn't something Nana was going to think too hard about. Never look a gift horse in the mouth after all.]

Shirou-kun? I'm home.

[Her arms are almost comically loaded with grocery bags and if he stops to notice it, most of the food doesn't require much in the way of kitchen prowess. Sorry Saber, if Nana had her cooking ability bake she could make Japanese food since that's what she's used to but as it is right now, there's not a chance. At the same time Nana knows even less about American food and produce so this makes her lack of cooking skills even worse!]

I got groceries. [Yes, she felt compelled to state the obvious.] Oh! We have a guest! It's very nice to meet you, welcome to our home.

[Saber looks up quickly, having been seated at the table and currently staring down at it. She stands up, as it is proper protocol when greeting another.]

I am Arturia Pendragon, I am sorry for the intrusion. It is nice to meet you as well...miss...?

[And it seems that the private conversation between Saber and Shirou would be cut from that point on out. He knew that not only does the Grail War must be kept secret from outsiders and innocent people even after it is done, but also for the sake of keeping the existence of magic kept secret as well... but needless to say, Shirou was not expecting Nana to return so soon.]

E-Eeeh?! Nana?! I thought you were going to be out a little longer than this!

It's not a problem, Arturia-san. Any friend of Shirou-kun's is a friend to the entire family.

[She smiles at Saber, brimming with good will and cheer.]

My name is Nana. It's very nice ot meet you in person.

[It's then that she can turn her attention to Shirou, Nana isn't entirely clueless you know. She can tell when she's not wanted.]

Oh... should I leave and come back later? It's a nice day outside so I don't mind. Just let me put the groceries away and I'll get out of your way.

[Despite the importance of their conversation, they seem to have all the time in the world to talk about it. Nana has FOOD, and Saber is not about to let her go now...especially if she can help Shirou cook.]

[She turns to Shirou in a huff.] Shirou, that was rude!

[She turns back toward Nana, with a more-or-less "dear God yes more food" smile on her face.] This is your home as well, Miss Nana. You do not have to rush off due to Shirou's rudeness.

H-Hey... don't make me sound like I'm the bad guy here. I was just surprised to see you home so early, that's all.

[Then he shoots a side glance over at Saber with an obvious disapproving look on his face after what she said, especially since he just tried to cover up where he left off so Nana won't be too curious about what they were talking about.]

Anyway. Nana, this is Saber. Saber is a real close friend of mine back home and she herself had also appeared in this town just recently. Saber, Nana is the... err... 'mother figure' of this household, if you will. I would appreciate it if you two would treat each other nicely and get along well.

No one's trying to make you look like the bad guy, Shirou-kun.

[She's confused and knows there's obviously something going on here. She's busy being distracted by other things to worry about that though.]

But I thought she said her name was Arturia? [Yes, that was the main thing she's latched on to out of everything she could have chosen.]

I can be called by either, you may simply choose the one you prefer.

Admittedly, I do not believe I informed Shirou of my true name when we were in our own world.

[Saber's gaze is very obviously not leaving the food...for anything.]
