This post may be dissappointing to some since it's not solely focused on the subject of politics. Don't get me wrong, there is a lot of fodder floating around the political world for me to snark at. I've just been feeling lazy and not up to writing about politics. So this post will contain some political snarkery, just not a sole devotion. Instead I'll write about various miscellaneous stories I've seen.
John Mayer has been quoted by Playboy as saying he has a "David Duke" white supremacist dick. Comedians often joke that men think with their cocks. Is Mayer subtley admitting to being a white supremacist? Who knows, but judging by the amount of raging and facepalming reactions I've seen it seems obvious that this is going to heavily damage Mayer. As if his terrible singing didn't hurt him enough. I doubt his career will recover from this. Mayer is gonna be wishing he had that moment back about 5 years down when he's a broke drug addict.
Now for a PSA: Anonymous rules the internet. Australia seemingly forgot this iron-clad rule when it tried to filter the internet and prevent Australians from accessing certain styles of pornography. Members of Anonymous then shut down Australia's federal website with a calculated DDoS attack along with prank phonecalls and mass emails. The Internet was apperently pleased with Anonymous's handiwork. It's quoted statement regarding this incident was a resounding "lul." Australia could not be reached for comment.
Rush Limpdick is in the news again, and amazingly it has nothing to do with raci--oh wait yes it does. Not only was Rush caught using the word "retarded" on air (something that Palin had blasted Rahm Emanuel for saying behind closed doors. Funny that,) and got away with it, he has now been recorded blasting flagrant racism. He started off with defensive posturing saying that since "Professor" has become a new buzzword for attacking Obama (IE, "We need a Commander-In-Chief, not a Professor of Law" as Palm Reader Sarah said,) everyone who says it is racist.
He also tried to compare it to "Uppity" and the N-bomb. Personally I think that's a bit of a stretch, since if it was as offensive as the N-Bomb then Rush would have been skinned alive by a mob as soon as people heard him say it on the air. It only got worse from there. Apperently Rush Limpdick lacks a conversational dialogue filter in his brain similar to some autistics. If it pops into his mind, he's likely to blurt it out on the air. Well he done did it.
He continued his rant by saying flat out that Obama was "uppity" and that his election was built upon white guilt. I could point to poll statistics that showed that opposition candidate John McCain's voter numbers were overwhelmingly white people. He again tried to defend his flagrant racism by saying that Obama was uppity because he is an elitist. I don't get it. I just want to know where the fuck is the FCC or whatever group that is supposed to prevent such obscenity from going on the air. Rush needs to get his radio station shut down. On the other hand, I have to wonder if Rush isn't doing this on purpose to try and entice TV producers to give him some kind of reality show. "Rushie Being Rushie" I think it would be called. And all it is is thirty minutes of Rush being a racist, mysoginistic cock who probably beats his girlfriend who is twenty years his junior. It's genius.
