Not for the first time in recent memory, Susan was looking at herself in the mirror. She was wearing her normal sort of outfit, the same thing she'd worn for about as long as she could remember, though she supposed that was a technicality now. It was just... normal.
And Susan's idea of normal now was entirely skewed.
She didn't know how she felt yet about being back to... whatever she had been before. Or even if she was back to what she was before. She had no idea what things would be like now- Now that she knew. There were probably going to be repercussions. For everything. Maybe she was permanently able to walk through walls now. Maybe they really had upset something in the world by interfering. Maybe she'd be one of those unlucky people in stories who attracted the attention of the gods or a nebulous something or other just by trying to do the sensible thing.
She had a feeling this was going to take her more than a day to figure out.
Susan sighed to herself and pulled her hair back, figuring maybe that much of a change might at least make her feel a bit better. Within thirty seconds the hair tie had just given up, letting her hair spring back into its natural state without her permission. At least that seemed normal.
[Door open, and post is too. Some SP while at work, but that doesn't seem to be stopping me latelyh.]
