I am hoping that Fai is going to live through this volume, I do not see Kuro killing him but rather that second curse coming into play. I mean it would seem in character for FWR to have his pawn killed off after serving his usefulness (ie killing Syaoran).

I can imagine a scene where the child that Fai is clutching turns around and stabs him or something horrible like that. >_<

....although something that Sakura said in Holic is making me think.....she said that her wish was that when Fai found her body that he would remember his past....and we have been seeing a lot of his past recently. Is that child that he is holding not really his twin...but rather Sakura with a illusion on her? Fai has already said that the whole castle is a illusion...would not be too weird then. *ponders*

I'm with tamerlane1 I also believe that it's Sakura Fai is holding on to. Chii has to be with little Fai at all times and we haven't seen Chii at all.
