Every December we try to ignore Christmas and get on with the usual daily round, and then get waylaid by food and present buying and card writing. No time for detailed blogging, so I am doing a picture record of last week (which was fun if exhausting).
Walking the dogs as winter approaches can be a beautiful experience. Last week's first frost sent them off in search of exciting scents, and me out with the camera.
I did vast amounts of baking for the Agility Club Christmas party - and explored a new recipe in the 'Breads and Muffins' book, which, with a few changes, turned out as very nice 'Pinwheel Pizzas'.
Yes, stuffed with cheese, tomato, bacon and pesto.
Draco and Bren both did well on the courses, and there were people taking photos, but I didn't want to risk my camera. This was the competition course - a bit twisty at the top, but Bren did it beautifully (Draco spent a while sniffing round the floor at the start, and got distracted by smells by the weave, but at least jumped everything in the right order!)
And yesterday we had the new fridge delivered. This one has a working light so there is a chance not so much will lurk unnoticed at the back in future (no, there is not a picture of that - I do have some standards.)
