IT'S PLAYOFF SEASON, LADIES. (And gentlemen, if one were to accidentally stumble on this entry.) Let me summarize what has happened so far if you had a life this weekend:
- Derrick Rose tore his ACL and he's out the rest of the playoffs D: CHICAGO CANNOT TAKE ANY MORE OF THIS. Except they proven over and over again they can win without him so.
- Miami and New York put me to sleep.
- So did Orlando and Indiana. Thought it must be awkward for Orlando since they don't have Dwight Howard.
- I didn't watch Dallas and OKC (because I went to see The Lucky One because Zac Efron), but I'm pleased OKC won. More on that later.
- Spurs and Jazz, yawn. GTFO of the playoffs forever, Jazz. Or at least you until you have a player I like.
- I'm mad the Lakers played well. I'm mad the Nuggets don't have better personnel.
- I also get so bored whenever the Hawks are in a series. Even though they played exceptionally well yesterday and Rondo lost his temper leading to a 1 game suspension WTF RONDO IT'S THE PLAYOFFS.
- CLIPPERS AND GRIZZLIES, DID YOU WATCH THIS?! I actually turned it off at the beginning of the 4th quarter to watch Once Upon a Time because the Grizzlies had such a dominating lead. But you guys, the Clippers were DOWN 27 with 8 minutes left in the game and they came back to win by 1! kfjgdklfbjflkgjagj;ldkg
I'm hoping either OKC or the Spurs win. I'd be okay with OKC because lol the Kings beat them on our one nationally televised game that I was at. And the Spurs because hi, they're the sneaky-as-hell-look-we're-suddenly-atop-the-conference Spurs and Pop is like the NBA god. Idk, I'm like over the Heat already. I don't feel the same way about LeBron as I did when he was in Cleveland, and I'm tired of trying to pretend I felt the same last year. It's very likely he'll be this year's MVP and a future Hall of Famer because, love him or hate him, he's a phenomenal basketball player. He's just lost his magic for me. Every so often he'll make a three or make a fancy pass or dunk and I'll feel that little tingle, but otherwise eh. I'll be happy for the Heat if they win though. They're the one team that it's actually championship or failure for.
