the drinks start pouring & my speech start slurrin, everybody start looking real good
Uh oh. I am having a slightly EXTREMELY FUCKING LARGE issue with this thing called 'rain'.
You see, it is my Psychology Ball tonight. I had my hair cut yesterday and it looks all fresh and we were going for the dead straight look tonight. I don't generally make a big deal out of it anymore, but one drop of water on my hair and it starts going a stupid wavy/curly type thing. ONE DROP!! I don't even care if I look like the vainest person on this planet right now, cause at the moment I probably am. So yay for us getting some rain etc etc whatever, but save it until tomorrow, sky >:o
Now with all the whinging out of the way, I'm actually pretty excited about tonight. I feel like I'm going to my year 12 formal all over again. My course started with around 300 people in the beginning and now in it's 3rd and final year, it's down to under 100. It's at that stage when you're in a lecture theatre and someone walks in and you all pretty much whisper 'uh how long will it take them before they notice they're in the wrong room?' cause you know everyones face. Obviously the whole 100 of us aren't the best of friends, but it's like a little group of people now anyway. As well as my uni friends you've all met 28520 times before, I'm excited that most of the people in my project group are coming as well. At the start of the year I was a bit wary of who I was in my group with, but 5 months later and I wouldn't have wanted to be with any other people, my friends included.
So I guess what I'm saying is I'm a bit sad that this is a celebration of probably the last time I'll see these people ever again. Which is fine, just slightly on the 'aww' side.
Whingey and sentimental stuff down, one last thing to go. MY MUM IS THE BEST THING EVER! It's a masquerade ball and basically she made Rhys and I the greatest masks eveeeeeeeer. His looks like Zorro with some decoration, I look like miss patriotic butterfly, with my colour theme for this evening based around my green dress and gold accessories. The only person who could probably wear a better mask is Rein; he bought a batman mask.
