Lately Will had a lot of things keeping him busy, like office hours and his classes and preparing for those classes--as well as raising a baby sloth by hand--and he didn't have a whole lot of time for baseball. But today, he was out at the batting cage, whacking at baseballs. He went through all the balls, reloaded the machine, and went at it again, until his arms were sore and he was exhausted.
It kind of sucked as a way to take his mind off things, but it was what he had. He was taking Juliet's disappearance harder than he'd expected, and while most of the time he hid it pretty good for Magnus's sake, today he was in a crappy mood and not hiding it so well. Finally he'd had enough, and he started putting away the balls and equipment.
