After being on the island for a year and some change, Will should have been prepared for pretty much anything to happen. He'd seen enough weird shit, heard enough from his patients, that he should really be expecting something like this before long.
But when he woke up that morning, he realized there was something distinctly wrong with his body. It didn't feel the way it usually felt in the morning, especially the way he normally feels when he's curled up with Magnus. Oh, he was still skinny, but he had a few new curves, and significantly, one less very important part.
Without waking Magnus, he carefully gave himself a very calm (okay, not very), very systematic pat-down.
And then shrieked.
