We're home!

It's 5AM and I haven't slept. hahaha! Welcome back to motherhood. :-)

Seeing all of Desi's pictures on Michelle's, Ia's and Norman's Multiply sites made me want to post ours na rin, but she's on my lap right now, helping me check my email and my camera is far away on the floor 4 feet away. So far away.

She woke up at 3AM demanding to be fed (also at 11PM, 12, 1 and 2 AM) and after getting up and feeding and putting her in the crib, sleeping for 10 mins then waking up again, I was so wide awake, all I wanted to do was catch up on the email I haven't seen since Thursday. About half of it was about us. Hahaha! Anyway, I didn't put her back in the crib na because she seems to wake up and cry when she's more than two feet away from me and the only way to get her to sleep again is to feed her, and I can't check email while breastfeeding. Yet. I'll figure it out when sitting and standing aren't so painful anymore. So for now, she's sound asleep on my lap (on a pillow on my lap, don't worry, she won't fall) and tomorrow, or rather a few hours from now, if she gives me a break, I'll post a proper birth story and announcement and of course more pictures for my parents, Carlo and Michelle in the States.

For now I'll say, we're both doing well. I'm recovering much faster than I did when I gave birth to Lia. Could be because I didn't go through labor. Could be the new hair. We're not sure. Also, lots of people asked how Lia was when they met and Lia seemed excited about her. She's not that interested, as in, she doesn't stare for more than a couple of seconds at a time. Mostly she would yell "baby sister!" when she sees Desi, and giggles when she touches Desi's feet. But other than that, she continues her rule of the Universe. She will share the Center when Desi is ready. I suppose.

I think I would really like to lie down now. Wish me luck that Desi will stay asleep. So yun. Just wanted to say hi to the internet world. I won't be joining the real world for a while, and this will be my main connection in the meantime. Keep me company, ok?
