(no subject)
I got my CPR certification in the mail today. The one I had before expired like 50 years ago. The class was insanely long and boring but the instructor was amusing. Im certified to rescue an adult, child, and infant. so pretty much im an excellent person to hang around if you ever feel like choking, fainting, heart stopping, and all that other good stuff.
It was one of the many (costly) requirements to enter the School of OT program at FIU. Then i had to promise them my first born child, trade in my legs for fins, and find true love before the sun set on the 3rd day.
But i did it all, with my fingers crossed, and somehow
I'M IN!
I'm taking 5 lecture classes and 4 labs this semester, and i'm afraid it doesnt get any better as time goes on. but in two years ill have my bachelors. a year after that i'll have my masters. and then I can save the world. right now what i need is some sleep because i have to wake up bright and early to be at FIU at 9am for a wonderful 7 hour long orientation about the wonders of Occupational Therapy
