After venting yesterday I was able to calm down a bit and rationalize. I made it into a positive thing, because it prompted me to look for new car insurance (Mercury expires this month for me anyway). I believe I just felt my first earthquake.

Well look at that, I'm back again.  When life throws the softball to the inside, I strike out a few times but after a while I realize it's time to switch my stance - and come up with an appropriate metaphor to go along with it.
