Today I went to see what has been described as The Most Important British Film Since Trainspotting. You may have seen me mention it before. That week I went to the cinema every day, I saw the trailer for this every time and thought it looked pretty damn good.

Hot Fuzz has made it in to the IMDB.COM Top 250 Films list. And, it's at number 200 with a rating about of 8.2.

Shaun Of The Dead has a rating of 8.0 and is not in the top 250

So yeah, I didn't go to see Into Great Silence yesterday. I did however go to see the film Half Nelson today. Now, Friday is of course new release day at the 'multiplex' cinema so I was also treated to the latest trailers. I saw the trailer for Black Snake Moan, which I was disappointed with because it made the film look like a really poor comedy. ( Read more... )

You know, up until last week I had no idea that the trees outside my house were cherry blossoms. Unsurprisingly, they're very beautiful.
