The smell of fire and snow
I like our wood burning stove.
I like that my parents stacked wood on my porch so that it feels like a tunnel into my house.
I still REALLY like the smell of a wood fire. (i
That is a good thing since i just spent half an hour getting the fire started without any kindling wood.
So now i smell like fire.
and my face is still warm from blowing on it.
I like going christmas shopping with Mindy.
and stopping for steak subs.
I like Jesus, and that he was born.
I like my youth group and that we are going to colorado this summer on a bus.
so concludes my happy/cozy list.
I don't like my dog barking right now.
and I don't like that it took the doctors until today to say that my grandpa probably won't walk or talk again.
mostly i don't like that my grandpa won't walk or talk again.
about once every two weeks he says a sentence. i miss him.
so concludes my unhappy/frustrating list.
I'm glad the top list is longer.
