summer slowdown
Well, I signed a lease today for a studio apartment I'm gonna move into Sept. 1st. $550.00/mo utilities included. Not too bad! It's cute and small, but new kitchen + awesome colorful tiled bathroom. It'll do.
The only bad part is no cats allowed... so Figaro will not be my lil gal anymore. :-(
I've been working so much lately. I'm super dedicated to my job. I enjoy it... it's been just about 5 months already.
I'm already feeling ready for a change again though. My **plan** is to apply to some grad. schools and scholarships for next year fall (earliest) and see where that leads me.
My confidence level is up these days.
It's sad I am (sort of) breaking up with Mark. Such pain I put him through, and myself. I'm just such a lil hornball!
I certainly feel about ten times wiser than ever before, but what do I have to show for it?
I have absolutely no friends in this city. None. Zilch. Not a single soul.
Except maybe that guy, but he's both too young and too lazy. And also possibly a huge jerk. I always like these jerks.
