Woke up at 4:45 am today, got picked up at 5:20, was at the office a little before six, searched for duct tape, was at my polling location 6:00am ish. Stood outside. In the freezing cold. Congratulations, well done! This is a huge step in the right direction :)
edit: Maine didn't fare so well. Very disappointing.

I honestly don't even understand how these things can still be an issue, makes you wonder what is wrong with people, you know? That you have to pass laws and ordinances just so people legally have to be treated equally. I really hope Michigan goes through with this, that would be another big step in the right direction.

Wow, I feel like a hermit; my internet died for a while, and now it's been days, once again. impromptu_love November 23 2009, 03:54:21 UTC
It's pretty much ridiculous. Ugh, I don't even have anything to say, you know? And the fact that lesbian couples are so much more accepted than gay male couples really bothers me, because it's only because people think girl-on-girl is hot. Erm, that was kind of a tangent. Anyway, if it's done in a way that requires campaigning, I'm so going to work on that.

Where were you/who were you with/was it fun/why don't you have an icon, missy? Haha, you mean T$? I have to find some of Darryl's pics of him for your mom, don't I?

I was with KT. The entire day. Like. Our zone leaders dropped us off together at 6:30 am, picked us up at 8:30 or 9 pm. It was actually huge fun. And very freezing. Yu don't have an icon! Haha, i'm proud of you, as well.

I understand that it's something you care about and are just doing, but sometimes people need to be reminded of how beautiful their soul is. ♥
