Dirgio... we are SO going to this. It's ARTIE!!!!
Other than that, things are awesome. Just about ready for XMas. Last night I wrapped Dirgio's gifts. Still have to wrap the other gifts. Still have to make some cookies. I'm putting the cookie making off so I won't be as tempted eating them. I want to make them then give them away!
I've been slacking and worrying I would gain weight over the holidays. I did. I am up 3 pounds; but it could have been MUCH worse. I need to get back into my exercise groove.
Money is tight for us, like it is for everyone these days, though I did get a lil' xmas bonus at work, which will certainly help. Once we do our taxes and get them back in a few months, we will (hopefully) be in good shape. Been paying a little extra on our mortgage most months and we have already shaved about a year off the mortgage, which is great.
Joey moved down to FL, which left TttW looking for a bassist. Luckily, all three guys found the same perfect candidate on various message boards and without skipping a beat, TttW is rocking again. The new guy seems a perfect fit (John), and to top it off, he smokes Cloves, plays WoW, and Magic, so the guys are happy. On top of that the new guy seems stable, has transportation and all his gear. I'm happy for them. They have two shows booked for January, already and we'll see what else comes up; this is the slow season for shows.
Off to work now... I am off this Friday... and have the holidays coming up, which I am looking forward to. Hooray!
