How am I not myself

Is there a fucking truth to the being of a person, or are we all just empty space moving through time? I’ve never really made any kind of connection between the two, nor do I believe I can, but it’s something that I wonder. Taking parts of myself and connecting to everyone else is just a way to know PAIN or LOVE or HATE or FEAR or … that others ( Read more... )

I think that there are things you said that I can agree with.. like being myself around people. I'm not thinking too critically right now.. it's still early, lol.

I do have those times where I sit and think about things like how life works, and just wonder if anyone else thinks the same thing that I do. However, it's hard for me to express my deeper thoughts online. Talking in person is so much better. :)

I don't know if that made any sense.

Good job with the new icon :)

Ah, mid winter semester is fun! lol. I've been so bored (and tired)!

The icon awesome. It took me a long time to make my icon too.. I fixed it about 4 times and finally ended up with this one. :)

You know, I have a teacher.... Mr. Meyers... and he completely believes we ARE all connected in some way. I believe it. Everything you do can affect someone else, no matter how miniscule it is... Like my last journal entry on the guy playing the guitar in the subway... Mr. Meyers is also always talking about having "adventures" - being aware of the world around you and all the weird things that go on EVERY DAY. Most people miss them.
And the people you meet? They all have information for you somehow. So... pay attention. If you keep running into that person, then they may have information for you still/vice versa.
Bascially, I live by a lot of what he says because I've found most of it all to be very true... so yes, I think we all are connected in some random way.

OK, this is the same BS maria gave me dude. I am not myself around her...And the truth is, as I discussed with Stephanie, people bring out different sides to us...they are what I guess you could call pieces of a puzzle that complete a person. Friends, family, work, politics or lack of, lovers. They are all part of what makes us "us". You see, she never really took the time to see al those in me or to learn all of that about me. Once in a while are iner fire burns out and then someone comes along and our spirit bursts into flames.
