Shin-sin-fa pretty much hates PJ (and I think he might be the only one that could)
I've not felt so bloody stupid since--well it seems like a long time, but after flipping back a few pages, I realize I feel bloody stupid all the time.
We landed on a deserted planet, a very tiny one, that had an unorthodox help message written in rocks across the desert. They organized search parties and I was stupid enough to go off on my own, get caught by a girl, and then when we got back to the ship they took her on as crew.
She's a pirate, and I don't trust her. More than that, she started teasing me about Tag, the cat, and I've no idea how she figured it out. I threw a knife at her, and I intended to miss--just a bit of a warning, tell her to shut up--but of course with my luck Tag just happened to see and set me to cleaning windows with a toothbrush. If Jamie starts macking on Truax, he's going to taste Ajax.
I wish I was unscrupulous enough to make him suffer for that in private at the next port, but really it's her fault for taunting me.
Bloody stupid pirate. I'm not letting her out of my site for long--they don't maroon you for just anything. That's intense punishment, right there, and anyone that merited it makes me nervous. Water flower fairy is very pretty.' She says it like that too--all her responses are a subtle taunt of some sort, but she acts all innocent about it.
