Adventures

Holy shit. What an adventure. Ranging from missing the last bus in remotest Cornwall and thinking I had to walk 8 miles back to town as it was getting dark on a fast country road with no pavements and high hedgerows on either side, making it impossible to get out of the way of cars without becoming one with the hedge (fortunately a nice lady gave me and my friend Connie a lift 2 miles later ) to having a crazy saxaphone/accordion jam in the toilets of a bar last night. I really have relied on the kindness of friends and strangers, and they have all been kind. Now I want to have my own house/flat/money in order to return the favour.

I busked with the accordion on Canal Street in Manchester, which is the gay part of town. I thought I'd have more fun and be safer there. Someone said I could play their organ, but I politely declined. Besides I was playing an accordion. Someone else said 'you'd make more money with your cock out', but again, I decided to stick with just the music. heh heh. Busking is cool. Its the only job I can think of where you get payed so instantly. Apart from robbing.

It's also been quite a learning curve for me. It's a lonely world sometimes, and people aren't always as happy as you wish they were. And I'm not really used to being out on my own, fending for myself so much. I miss my family, and friends, and Sheena a lot.

I'm in London right now, and I'm heading back to Aberdeen tomorrow. I have been severely humbled, and really inspired.
