Busy day! And tomorrow's Graduation! And then we slip into the blessed days of Summer!

Ack, so today.

I began a raw-foods diet, which has already hit a little bump in the road.  LOL!  I got really hungry about an hour ago and realized that I was in this to win, so I got my game face on and toughed it out.  I feel fine now, of course.  I'd had an Odwalla Superfood Micronutrient Fruit Juice Drink for lunch and it was good, but obviously with only 150 calories isn't going to cut it by itself.  I've got a huge plate of fruit waiting at home and I will probably buy some salad on the way home, because I'm really hungry, lol!

[I've got a couple of books to guide me along: The Raw Food Detox Diet: The Five-Step Plan for Vibrant Health and Maximum Weight Loss and Raw Foods for Busy People.  Both are quite helpful.  I do want to lose weight and I do want to detox and I also want to eat unprocessed food, so this seemed like a natural progression for me.  It's actually something that's been in the back of my mind for about a year now.  So I'm finally getting off my duff and going for it!

And I bought some new Crocs - flip-flops, which I didn't even know they had!  As with all Crocs, they are massively comfy and so easy to walk in.  Most flip flops are too flimsy and they get dirty easily, but these won't.  It wasn't a big sell point for me, lol, but one of the things they claim about these flip-flops is that they are odor-resistant.   They're nice.  I like them. :)  I think I'll buy my son a pair for his birthday.

Tonight's plan includes Battlestar Gallactica and knitting - yay go me!  *hee*  I really am very boring.  Tomorrow is graduation and Summer has nearly set in.  I've got lots to do, of course, but I accomplished one major goal and that was to do up the display case outside.  I'll see if I can take some pictures to share.  I really like layering, so I've got a fractal as my background, and then each bit of stuff has it's own design, with the same basic colors.  It's a lot of stuff like different faculty and student awards or accomplishments and stuff like our Community Service Day and International Case Competition with lots of pictures.  As much as I wanted to take Russty's idea to bash in the printer that's been acting up and stick it into the display case, I refrained.  LOL!  It took me several days to get everything designed and then stapled up.  I think my boss was worried that I wouldn't finish today, lol!  But I knew I'd stay late if I needed to, so that the thing would be done before tomorrow.  Fortunately, I finished around 4:30pm, so it's all good. :)))

Have a happy Thursday everyone!
