REMUS/SIRIUS LOVE POST
HAI GAIS. Okay, so yeats and I are having a fucking amazingface, pathetichead conversation right now that could have happened about 5 years ago, back when Remus/Sirius fandom was experiencing a bit of a "heyday", and everything was still relatively hunky-dory, and like, stuff was still REALLY ANGSTY AND SHIT but at least NOBODY WAS DEAD OR STRAIGHT YET

I know, it was a really intense time - and I think what I see now is a kind of inevitable disappation of that original energy, but it makes sense, in some ways, considering what's come since in terms of new canon, but also just in terms of time passing. I think what's most extraordinary to me is how it STILL produces new blood - new readers who see what we saw, three, four, five, six years ago, and are so intrigued by it, and are still producing pretty beautiful, amazing stuff with the same kind of passion, even if there's less of it.
I think also, you know, even after three years of kind of being either mostly or entirely out of fandom (and R/S too), I find myself getting pulled back in. Even though I've "grown up" (whatever, whatever, hahaha), considerably, since my original forays, and my writing has changed quite considerably, I can't really leave these guys behind! I miss the community, to be sure - but I can't tell you how happy it makes me to touch base with all of you guys again, to know that we once experienced this all together. :D :D :D :D
