Tempus fugit
It was called to my attention that I hadn't updated in well, a month as it is now, the 16th. (What would I do without you Jordan? My journal would cease to exist. j/k!) I read my last entry before reading this, and no joke it seems like some of that stuff just happened a couple weeks ago, and yet it has been a month. My oh my! Tempus fugit! (For all of those Latin scholars out there! If you need a translation it means time flees (or flies) however you look at it).
Life is crazy busy right now! Finishing up the semester and getting ready for break. Short update on the school side: I have been teaching 3rd graders at Fayette, they are fantastic! I have recently started working on a self-portrait in my painting class (how I despise it already. Not easy to stare at yourself in the mirror for 3 hours and try to paint yourself. Grrr). Ballroom dancing is still GREAT! We are actually having a 50's dance party tomorrow, with a swing competition. I am dressing up in a poodle (well, Scottie) skirt, it is really cute. I think we need to bring back that style, and I have developed a love for swing music. It is really fun and gets ya movin.
God is also doing some awesome things in my life. I am not really sure what He is up to, but I have been challenged and people have spoken into my life so much recently. It is wonderful, and scary at the same time. I have had so many words of confirmation. I know God is doing something in my life, and I have a feeling it will be soon, I just don't know what. At our 180 staff training we had last week, one of the speakers prayed over all of us individually, and it was amazing. He was praying over one area of my life, which brought confirmation then he stopped and started praying over another area, he said that he felt like there were things I was waiting for in my life and he prayed that God would give me clarity in these matters. Oh my how I needed to hear that prayed over me, just the day before that I had been talking about how I really need God to show me what was going on in an area in which I am waiting. God is just awesome!
And I am sooo excited. I am going to a Jeremy Camp concert on Thursday! (yes, again! I can't get enough of that guy, yes I know he is married.) It is crazy how things work out, I was told about it but didn't think I would be able to go, then I was asked on Monday by one of my campus life kids if I was going. I said no, he was shocked, then tonight when I was practicing my wonderful swing dance, my friend Sarah asked if I wanted to go!
Well now that I have updated, I need to go get some sleep, big day tomorrow!
