Maybe it's trite, but i can always be wrong....
I swore this wouldn't happen again. But here I sit with another Dashboard overload. Probably going on about day 4 or 5 of pretty much mostly Dashboard. But whatever, I don’t really care. One of my favorite bands, so I don’t really care. I just hope I don’t turn so emo that I go out and get sleeve tattoos and wear black rimmed glasses. Well, actually, sleeves would be kool. But the rimmed glasses are totally out....lol.
Today was actually a pretty good day, minus waking up at 7:30 this morning and being slightly drunk/hungover. But whatever, I got over it in the first 10 mins I was awake. Got home and just went back to sleep. that’s always the best thing, waking up to leave, and once you get to where you have to be you go back to sleep. Love it. So I slept 'til I had to go to work at 3. Worked ‘til 9, then came home. Adam met me at my house and we hung out over here for a few. Then we headed to Todd’s and hung out over there. Terri and Alison came over there and hung out with us for a while. We played spoons, with altoids...haha. Then errryone went home and TK and I went out to Coney Island. Had some good eats and some good talks, for shizzle. :) Talked to the waitress for a few. She asked me why I'm so "soft spoken". So I told her, "It's because I’m emo." so she thought my name was Emo for a second, until I told her what it meant...lol. I’m definitely changing my name to "Emo" now.....hahaha. But yea, a pretty good night.
As far as the rest of the aspect, things seem to be going alright. Just kinda riding the wave and hoping I don’t get pulled under by the current. The summer should be good, I’m hoping. Definitely going to be writing songs and lyrics and all that fun shit. And we should be setting up our first show for probably July if all things go well and we get shit done. But if not, it's not gonna kill me. I've got all the time in the world.
The year is already half way over, can you believe that? That’s such madness. And I have had a hell of a year so far. It has been quite the rollercoaster, but I’m not complaining, it’s better than a straight line, that's just too dull for me. So, hopefully the next half of the year will be good as well. But you always have to take the good with the bad. Never expect everything to be perfect.
I can’t wait ‘til the new Spiderman movie comes out. I’m really looking forward to that. And it's for sure going to be better than the last movie I went to see......"envy". More like "crappy"…lol but whatever, Christopher Walken is in it, and I just about laughed my ass off whenever he was talking. That man is hilarious. He plays a bum in the movie. "The J man", good times for shizzle. But yea, Spiderman 2 is going to be amazing. And yes, I am a dork. But I don’t care, Spiderman was always my favorite comic book and my favorite superhero.
If I keep hanging out with Adam, I’m gonna be deaf by the time I’m 20. And that's only 3 months and a couple weeks away....lol. His sound system in his truck is so massive, it's crazy. I’m sure he's lost at least 20 percent of his hearing just from his system. And on top of that, all the concerts he works over the summers. Craziness.
But it's all good.
You only live once, might as well make the best of it.
