Holy shiznit! My friend Kye made a "Mock Apple Pie." It's a pie-shell full of Ritz crackers and stuff - look at the link! It's the recipe! HOLY SHIT! IT LOOKS AND TASTES JUST LIKE APPLE PIE!!!!!! BUT IT'S MADE OF CRACKERS! :O It totally blows. my. mind. Seriously. The texture of the crackers is smushier than real apples, but you don't even care because the rest of illusion is so perfect. Dear god. Madness. Utter madness. I can't even articulate how this has changed my world. It defies ever natural law. When Prometheus stole fire from the gods, he also stole a recipe... and that recipe was for Mock Apple Pie.
Of course, because it's made of buttery Ritz crackers, soaked in 2 cups of sugar, and encased in a flaky pie shell... This pie can only be eaten maybe twice in one's lifetime... but you'll only need to experience it once to find religion.
